It’s officially 2018!
Many of us are probably already getting in to our 2018 resolutions/goals, and it would not surprise me if one of those included eating healthier. 😉 C’mon, you can tell me the truth!
Eating healthy can really be tough, especially when you’re trying to find recipes online to experiment with at home. Because I’m someone who learns best when I observe and try it on my own, online videos make it the easiest for me to learn new recipes.
I’ve narrowed down 3 of my favorite YouTube channels, in no particular order, that focus on cooking, and am happy to share them with you for some inspiration! [The channel name is a link to the YouTube page, so feel free to click to be redirected :)]
Right now, there’s a 30 day healthy eating series on this channel! Perfect for starting off your 2018 goal of being healthier 🙂 She also mentions that she’ll be incorporating more plant based recipes in her upcoming videos. There are a lot of great recipes on this channel, including ones that are Asian inspired. Instructions are easy to follow, and super aesthetically pleasing [she has the cutest bowls and spoons]!
For healthy meal prep ideas and easy to follow meal plans, check out The Domestic Geek! I’ve tried several recipes from this channel and have had great success! They are great to watch and very informative, which helps me a LOT as a novice cook. There are lots of meal prep bowls, soups and salad recipes that look so delicious *thumbs up*
If you can only spare a minute or two [literally] to watch a video online, Tasty is the channel for you. These videos are sped up, but show you pretty much the entire process of making a bunch of different recipes. I’ve tried several of their recipes with much success. Highly recommend!
I periodically test out recipes that are brand new to me and share them on my blog! Some examples are the recipe for butternut squash [click here] and macarons [click here]. I’ll continue to do this as I try more 🙂
That’s a wrap for this quick post! Hope you were able to find some inspiration. Let me know what your favorite healthy recipes are!
